[INDICATIONS] It is used in the treatment of chronic blood loss (hypermenorrhea, ulcer, tumor, haemorrhoids, gastrointestinal tract blood loss of ancylostomiasis ), malnutrition, malabsorption after subtotal gastrectomy, pregnancy, and childhood development.
[INGREDIENTS] A compound preparation containing 200mg ferrous fumarate, 200mg Vit-C, 115mg Vit-B1 per bag.
[DESCRIPTION] Redish brown and white granules with the property of hygroscopicity, sour and sweet in taste.
[SPECIFICATION] 5g per bag
[DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION] For adults: 5g to be taken orally 3 times daily. For children: Less dosage to be taken or as directed by the physician. The course of treatment is 2 to 3 weeks for mild cases or 3 to 4 weeks for severe cases.
[PREGNANCY AND LACTATION] Generally, women in pregnancy and lactation should be supplied ferrum, as directed by the physician. The most suitable time for supplying ferrum is in the middle and later period of pregnancy, since the intaking of ferrum decreases and requisite amount of ferrum increases in this period. No harmful effects with regard to foetus and breast-feeding has been reported at the therapeutical dosage.
[AGED PATIENTS] For the treatment of hypoferric anemia, aged patients should supply chalybeate. Gastric secretion decreases and gastric acid is insufficient in aged patients, so their ferrum absorbability from intestines'mucous membrane decreases, and their dosage should increase properly in the requisite condition.
[CONTRAINDICATIONS] This product is contraindicated in patients with hemachromatosis or hemosiderosis, and should be used with caution in patients with alimentary tube ulcer and helco- enteritis.
[SHELF-LIFE] Two years
[STORAGE] Keep tightly closed and store in a cool place. Protect from direct light.
